I got some new ink from my mom and a new sketchpad with nice heavy stock paper from my wife for Christmas. I drew this while watching my son put a Lego tractor together with his grandmother.

Sister Ray

The Velvet Underground recording the 17 minute long "Sister Ray" for their second album, White Light/White Heat. Just like the song, here it is inked, one take, no corrections or touch-ups. I might color it sometime, but for now I like it in plain black and white.

FIVE TIMES - All of it.

This comic features two characters from "Sometimes I Think About You at Night" from Big Deal Comics & Stories #11. It's a prequel of sorts. Not sure if I'll ever bother printing this into a booklet of not. Maybe issue #14 just might have life outside of existing on paper. 

My love of werewolves goes far back.

Here's a comic that originally ran in Flagpole Magazine back in 2004. I see the same Ben Cooper werewolf mask show up on eBay every once in awhile, but it's not like I'd buy it and wear it. I'm an adult now. Obviously I'd need an adult-sized plastic werewolf mask.

Halloween sketch- Dylan Dog

I began rereading my Dylan Dog omnibus that Dark Horse published awhile back to get in the Halloween spirit. It's a wonderful horror fantasy series about a paranormal investigator that's been published in Italy since 1986, where it's ridiculously popular. Sadly, over here there's only six stories available in English. I'd recommend reading it.

Anarchaos

A drawing inspired by the 1967 sci-fi novella Anarchaos by Curt Clark, one of Donald E. Westlake's many pseudonyms. It's a fine book with many crime elements, at times making it feel like a Parker novel set on a distant planet.
