The list of facial expressions was lifted from Jack Hamm's "Cartooning the Head and Figure", which is a great lil' instructional book on cartooning.

    Aah, this is wonderful, Patrick!
    I have often considered (even seriously considered) getting tattoos of those jack hamm heads on my left arm (and then guitar scales on my right) (all in the spirit of usefulness).
    That jack hamm book is the only book on my desk, currently.

    I got that book for my birthday when I was a kid. I'm not sure of it's first printing, although the internet says it's 1982. Funny, since it looks like an early 50's instructional book from cover to cover. I'll have to check my copy when I get home.
