This originally appeared in the 6th annual Wide Awake Press comics anthology Wide Awake 666 which had a fun horror theme. My comic was a throwback to the Eerie Publications horror magazines from the 70's, which sported some of the most obnoxious over the top covers of any horror comic. These covers were train wrecks, usually with a couple of Draculas fighting a mummy over the body of a decapitated werewolf. While my comic may look goofy, it wasn't far off from the inspiration source.
Here's a comic I did during my first year at Flagpole Magazine from 1998. Ugh, what a strange year that was. Kinda fun, kinda awful, kinda social, kinda lonely.
