I drew this a few minutes before dozing off at a friend's house. I was tired and loopy. I think I need to expand this character into a full story, like a guy who's an amazing singer, but he's always forgetting his pants when he performs in public. I dunno.
You know what I like? Musicals. I also like comics. So, sometimes I combine the two and BAM! I get something like this. C'mon, sing this aloud to the tune of your favorite Sloan or Hollies song.
I did this messing around with acrylic paints for the first time in awhile. It eventually wound up on the inside cover of an issue of Big Deal Comics & Stories.
This is how I met my wife. It was a long lonely road leading up to that New Year's party. It's nuts when you meet someone that you stay with and you realize that the two of you probably passed each other on the street a good number of times before your eyes ever caught each other. Circumstances, etc. Things happen for a reason and you meet that someone when you're supposed to, I guess.
I did this five years ago during the winter. At the bottom you can see where I not only noted the date, but also added "clear out, 33 degress F". Just thought future generations should know what weather conditions I drew this under. Also, I'm a weather nerd.
