Late Popfest Flagpole cover!

Here's a cover for Flagpole Magazine last month, which coincided with Athens Popfest. Go and read about... stuff that... happened last month? Or just enjoy the cover.

New Nightmares!

I have four little paintings at Flicker Theater and Bar located in downtown Athens, Georgia. They're part of a Halloween themed art show called "Little Monsters" curated by Cindy Jerrell. Swing by there and take a look at 'em if you're in the area. Better yet, buy one and hang it over your couch or daybed!

Bloody but funny

"Open The Bloodgates!"
This originally appeared in the 6th annual Wide Awake Press comics anthology Wide Awake 666 which had a fun horror theme. My comic was a throwback to the Eerie Publications horror magazines from the 70's, which sported some of the most obnoxious over the top covers of any horror comic. These covers were train wrecks, usually with a couple of Draculas fighting a mummy over the body of a decapitated werewolf. While my comic may look goofy, it wasn't far off from the inspiration source.

Ancient Comic From Yesteryear!

Here's a comic I did during my first year at Flagpole Magazine from 1998. Ugh, what a strange year that was. Kinda fun, kinda awful, kinda social, kinda lonely.

Singalongdingdong

I drew this a few minutes before dozing off at a friend's house. I was tired and loopy. I think I need to expand this character into a full story, like a guy who's an amazing singer, but he's always forgetting his pants when he performs in public. I dunno.

The Novella

You know what I like? Musicals. I also like comics. So, sometimes I combine the two and BAM! I get something like this. C'mon, sing this aloud to the tune of your favorite Sloan or Hollies song.
