Dream about other dimensions and armed citizens, I guess?

I basically had a dream about the straight-to-dvd knock off version of Stephen King's The Mist. 

Dream about puppet film festivals, neon gyms and werewolf movies.

Dream comic about antique stores and levitating.

Dream about a bible class and fucking up a chance to connect with someone.

Dream about treasures and dying stars.

Another dream comic, this one about reading, riding and rocking.

Dream about spiders that woke me up.

Nightmare entity.

I have reoccurring dreams about this specific haunted house with no visible entity that always leaves me terrified when I wake up. Awhile back the ghost that haunts this house finally made an appearance in my dream and this is what it looked like. I was peeking into the house through its kitchen window and this creature popped around the corner and spotted me. Throughout the rest of the dream it chased me around in broad daylight until something scared it off and I was left alone.

Jacob Morrow's " A Head for Business"

Forgot to mention this last week, but the sixth issue of "She Wolf" by Rich Tommaso came out last Wednesday. It's not only the second issue in a new story arc (you're reading it, right?), but it also features a five page backup comic I illustrated with Rich providing the script. Pick it up if you're out and about a comic shop.

(To be paranoid, it's a comic recommended for adults. It's pretty bloody, since it is a werewolf story and they're almost always gruesome by nature. "American Werewolf in London" is a great film, but it'll be awhile before I let my kids watch it)

EDDIE'S WEEK IS DONE. KIND OF.

There. "Eddie's Week" is done. All 190 pages of it. Hooray for me. Finished. Sort of. 

Er, now I just have to touch up the first thirty or so pages (they look a little sparse on the ink compared to the rest of the comic) and scan it all in. Then I'll be done. But for the most part, the monster is sewn up and complete; I just need to give it a haircut and put it in some fancy clothes. I'm going to drop this monster metaphor right now because I am tired and borderline incoherent. Good night.

She Wolf backup comic!

I have a five page backup story in Rich Tommaso's She Wolf #6, out in late February from Image Comics. Issue five starts a new chapter in Rich's teenage werewolf saga, so if you're not already reading it, this is the month to start!
Rich wrote the script, which was a ton of fun to work with. Corpse robbers, cannibals, and murder. What more could you want in a horror story?

Haunted Pumpkin House Dream

A few nights ago I had a dream about a haunted house made of pumpkin that had sprung up out of the ground off of a deserted road on the outskirts of town. It was said that when locals tried to destroy the pumpkin house, it would regrow over night with the spirits haunting it angrier than before. No one would venture into it, but the dream ended with me trying to work up the courage to step inside. Not sure if it would count as a nightmare because in real life I would dart into the first giant haunted pumpkin house I came across.

Slowly, but surely. I have a full time job now, so I've been inking this thing during days off and evenings when I'm not tired. It will be done this year. I promise. 

She-Wolf #3

Hey! I've got a pinup page in the third issue of Rich Tommaso's She-Wolf, published by Image Comics, which came out last week. It's a really fun horror series with cosmic undertones, so pick it up if you're not reading it already!
There's been a lot going on in my life, so I probably should have posted this last week, but whatever. Life is a horror show.

R.I.P. Jack Davis (1924-2016)

I wrote a tribute to the prolific life of illustrator and southern gentleman Jack Davis for Playboy’s website. I’d had the privalege to meet Davis on several occasions and it was cathartic to write this about him. 

HeroesCon 2016 Report Part 1: Commissions

Here's some commissions I did at HeroesCon last weekend. The last piece is a 3x2' drawing I did for their fundraising Sunday Auction. I had a lot of fun drawing it in a couple of hours before the 4:00 deadline. Any excuse to draw Mos Eisley aliens.
